Sound familiar?

The old version
doesn’t fit anymore.

  • You’ve reinvented yourself so many times you’re not sure who’s underneath.
  • You say what you want, then immediately explain why it’s too much.
  • A hard season ended, but you never fully climbed out of it.
  • You’re ready for a bigger life and tired of shrinking to fit the old one.

You’re not falling apart. You’re taking off what was never yours.

Meet Inanna

Who’s underneath all those roles?

Inanna was the Queen of Heaven in ancient Sumer, goddess of love, desire and power, and her poems are some of the oldest writing on Earth. In her most famous story she walks into the underworld. At each of seven gates she has to give something up: her crown, her jewels, her robe. She arrives with nothing. Then her loyal friend comes for her, and Inanna rises, back as herself, only more. It’s the oldest rebirth story we have. In this initiation it becomes yours: what are you wearing for other people, and what do you actually want to put back on?
